From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding. I called, and they quickly scheduled a visit to measure and help me choose exactly what I wanted. The pricing was very reasonable—well within my budget—which honestly surprised me.

We had red oak flooring in our kitchen, foyer and 1st floor owners bedroom and carpet in the den, dining room and family room. The flooring made my home feel chopped up and didn’t flow. I wanted the look of natural white oak throughout the first floor but to save on cost of we decided to added the same red oak to our existing carpet areas. When I showed Johnny the pictures of the flooring I wished for he told me he could get it close to the look I wanted. When I saw the finished product I could not be happier. The flooring installation is seamless. You cannot tell where the existing floor was and where the new one was installed. The color turned out better than I could have expected and the water base finish is gorgeous! The installation team was on time and took great care of my home. They were patient and respectful. Johnny, Nick, and team did a FANTASTIC job with our staircase remodel and wood floor refinish. We weren't sure we would ever find a company that would be willing to change the layout of the lower half of our stairs for a reasonable price, and were shocked that Johnny said he could do it when he came by to discuss our wood floor project with us. Once everything was set up and the team got started, we were blown away that they typically worked from 7:40am-7:00pm, and even worked some Saturdays! I recently did a refinishing of my hardwood floor. I am very satisfied of the result that creative floors provided. Both Johnny and Adam are very helpful with the estimation and timeline of the work. The crews helped me move my furnitures away and back after the paint is done which is a huge plus of the work. The workers are always on time every day when they come to work. I picked the water based paint which I feel like is a smart choice for me. It dries faster and no smell. We’ve worked with Johnny and the team at Creative Flooring on two separate homes and have been extremely happy with the results both times. What stood out to us was how friendly and professional everyone was, along with their strong attention to detail. Johnny gave helpful advice on everything from floor direction to stain color, and the crew showed solid craftsmanship throughout the projects. In 2020, they installed white oak flooring in our 1922 four-square home—it looked great and held up amazing. We often commented on how much we loved it.

More recently, in 2024/25, they refinished and installed red oak floors in our 1891 farmhouse. We had a tight schedule, and the team started right after closing and even finished ahead of time. Johnny also helped us land on a stain color that closely matched the floors from our previous home. They also installed LVP and carpet, both of which turned out great.

Creative Floors did an excellent job transforming the look of our home with all new flooring and baseboards on the first floor. We had three separate kinds of dated flooring prior to the crew completing the job in two quick days with very little disruption. Appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail. We will be using their services again when we choose to replace the upstairs carpeting.

I highly recommend Johnny for getting any flooring work done. Our stairs had dry wall and we wanted to having railings installed. We just had a limited window for getting this work done. Johnny and his team did an excellent work, finishing, installation and everything. They completed the project on time, in fact a day before 😊 to our surprise. We get many compliments for the flooring and stairs from our family and friends.

This was my first time hiring a company to refinish or install flooring. In this case a little bit of both. I selected creative floors because of the confidence I got when speaking with the owner, Johnny. Never felt rushed or pressured to do anything and ended up making my selections over a couple of weeks. The crew was in and out for my job in about 1 week with three or so guys working throughout the day. They were also very patient with my stain selection. Overall the final quality is great and exactly what I was looking for. Any minor issues were resolved timely.

The only thing that I would recommend you inquire about, as I did not do to my lack of experience with this kind of work, is the cleanup of the dust and the retouching up of baseboards and walls that may be required after such a job. I believe it is typical but I wish I would have inquired more about it to know that after the job was done there would be the need to repaint baseboards and wipe down walls, etc.

I had Creative Floors install additional hardwood in our family room that was previously carpeted. Also, I had them refinish all the existing hardwood flooring. I felt the quote was very fair due to the extent of work. They completed everything in 3 days time. My wife, 2 dogs and I were out of the house for a total of 5 days. We did not return to the house for another 2 days after completion due to the strong smell from the top coatings (expected). Late November, minimal windows open. I was very pleased with the work. The installers did a great job, came when they said and stayed late as needed. I had moved all furnishings beforehand so I had some residual dust to clean (to be expected) before returning items to there previous locations. All in all I'm happy with the results. I definitely recommend Johnny, his crew and Creative Floors, Inc.!!

They did our wood floors 2 weeks ago and they did an amazing job with our wood floors. Johnny was very nice, patient and helpful the entire time and his workers were excellent, respectful, and very hardworking. If you need new floors you will never go wrong with creative floors. They are great company.

Fantastic work!

I went with this company and ended up refinishing the hardwood rather quickly. Johnny was pretty responsive and did attempt to correct the issues. The first finish dried with bubbles so they had to redo it. The second attempt, then left high gloss looking and drips along the floor and around the edges of the cabinets.
On the third attempt, 4th day they used a different coating and I was out of the house for over 24 hours. Overall the color looks good but I found some bristles in the finish and hardened poly chunks along the cabinet kick plates and around the front of the fridge footing. One area seems to be sanded uneven and there are ripples from the round sander. The worst part is they didn’t poly under the fridge or stove which is rough to the touch and was told because no one walks on it. I called around and this isn’t normal practice, so now I need to pay someone else to finish the job. I can’t have stained only wood under appliances.

Johnny mentioned below that I didn’t want to remove food or doors from the fridge, but I was never asked to do so. Scheduling happens within 2 days and simply was not asked to do so. Because of the short time, he offered to do quick dry and I accepted. I would have made arrangements if I was provided more time and opportunity to unload the fridge. It’s rough wood only stained under the fridge until my next contractor comes to complete.

Creative flooring is the best kept secret in the business. They do incredible work with an eye for detail, carry the best products, and charge reasonable prices. Very few flooring companies overdeliver in all areas like Creative Flooring. You will not regret doing business with them!!

But the reason I went with them was not the money it was trust in that they were giving me what I need and not what I didn't need the savings were just a bonus. They were able to schedule when I went out of town for a few days so we were not at all inconvenienced. What a delight to return from that vacation to what looks like are brand new floors. 1100 sq ft of worn, animal-marked hardwood floor with dark spots was sanded, stained, and finished by Creative Floors. The work was done in three days, the office was responsive, and the on-site team was clean and respectful.

Here we go again. We had Creative Floors help us out with the shower tiles and they came out great. We had hired Creative Floors in the past to install our hardwood flooring, sand and refinish them and as expected they did an amazing job. Since that job turned out amazing the renovations carried on towards the bathrooms. And as you know, once you find a great contractor you stick with them. Jonny and Creative Floors delivered again, as expected. The tiles came out great, the glass partition was installed exactly how we envisioned it and just like last time the crew was professional. The CF team was amazing. They were punctual and patient when I forgot to give them a way into my house.They did quality work and were quick due to having a large team. The kitchen needed new trim due to the preivous tile being much higher off the subfloor. They installed new trim and csme back next day and cared about the job being done correctly. They forgot to put my stove back in the kitchen, but sent a team to care of it very quickly, and no qualms or issues. We had LVP and new carpet installed, and they sanded and stained the tops of our stairs

I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again when I finish my basement. Moving into the area into our first home has been stressful, but Creative Floors made this change much easier. The pictures attached are before and after. (We are going to paint the risers ourselves.)

After a terrible leak in my master bedroom and being ghosted from the mitigation company after they tore it all apart Creative Floors literally saved the day! Johnny called me back within 30 min. He came out to refinish and update the stairs because they needed to be re carpeted. Not realizing he also did carpet, he sat with me and had great samples with him. The stairs were updated with wrought iron spindles and re surfaced before the carpet was laid. I told Johnny, the foyer was now my favorite room ;)!! He ended up doing carpeting all the rooms. It turned out better than I could have EVER even dreamed! I plan on referring him to anyone and everyone! He was responsive, timely, fair, and a joy to work with!

I got several quotes to have my hardwood floors refinished and decided to go with Creative Floors because Johnny was very professional, explained the process and wasn't an aggressive salesman. They did 3 bedrooms, a small hallway and living room. It was a 3-day process and the crew of 2 arrive both days on time around 8:30 AM. Although the 1st day was very hectic as I had them move the furniture and there was a lot of problems moving the couch. Also had problems powering up the big sanding machine that required 240V. After these hookups things went a lot smoother and they were able to finish the job and move the furniture back on the 3rd day. Had some issues but overall a good experience so I would recommend Creative Floors to family & friends.

I worked with Creative floors to have our entire first floor redone with hardwood floors. They ripped out the existing hardwood, ceramic tile and carpeting. Timing of the project was pretty close to what was estimated. Johnny stopped by on several occasions to check on the progress and to see if we had any questions. We had some severe settling/level issues to deal with. In a couple locations our subfloors would transition up to 1.5 inches. Johnny worked with his crew to address the issue and provide the best options for getting the new flooring as level as possible. We also had them install all new baseboards which really finished off the great new look. I would definitely recommend Creative Floors. They are serious about providing a great quality service to your home and are very reasonably priced.

Today we had Creative Floors come today to install carpet. They removed the old carpet and padding, cleaned up as they worked and installed the new carpet. We can’t say enough about Johnny and his crew. They were on time and did an amazing job. They even went above and beyond to take the squeaks out of our stairs. We are looking to hire Creative floors next year to do another project sanding and refinishing our first floor hardwood floors based off such a positive experience with them. Creative Floors refinished my living and dining room floors and replaced the entranceway ceramic tile with hardwood. Price was reasonable. Had a slight issue with a couple of the planks starting to push up against one another so I reached out to Johnny and he responded within minutes! He came over that same day to take a look at the boards and scheduled a day for his crew to come replace the boards free of charge! They replaced the planks in less than an hour and made sure to clean everything to before leaving. Can't say enough great things about Johnny and his crew, we'll definitely be using Creative Flooring when we decide to do our flooring upstairs.

Johnny and his crew did a fantastic job on our home. We had luxury vinyl installed in 3 different rooms throughout the house and we couldn't be happier with the results. He also gave us the option of doing some of the labor pieces ourselves (removal of all the old carpet) to save some money which we gladly did! The quote came in considerably lower than some of the other vendors in the area so after meeting with Johnny and discussing our options, we knew he was the best guy for the job! Overall, extremely happy with how things turned out, in just 2 days nonetheless! Hired Creative Floors to take a look at several areas of our home. They gave us a thoughtful analysis of what could be done at our budget and delivered on the quality they described. My old floors (1909) were super squeaky and in need of being refinished. I contacted Creative Flooring and Johnny came out the next day to inspect my situation. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to begin work the following week. My wife and I were hoping to just address the squeaks, but we realized we also had to refinish our floors. Johnny gave us a very good price and by the time the work was finished, we were in love with our new, refinished hardwood floors (squeak free). What I appreciated most about Johnny was his professionalism throughout the whole process. He always answered the phone when I called him (no matter the time of the day) and walked my wife and I through every step of the process. It's rare these days to find a company that can offer you this type of service!

Johnny and his crew did an absolutely phenomenal job on our living room. It was the only room in our house which still had a carpet. Once the carpet was peeled back, the floors were extremely uneven and they did a great job of leveling the floors before laying the new hardwood. Although the stain couldn't be matched to the existing floors, they did an excellent job in the living room. Better yet, they completed the entire job in two days. Johnny is super responsive and we really appreciated that. When we texted him a couple of days later asking him a question about the floors, he stopped by real quick to address our questions. Creative Floors did an excellent job transforming the look of our home with all new flooring and baseboards on the first floor. We had three separate kinds of dated flooring prior to the crew completing the job in two quick days with very little disruption. Appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail. We will be using their services again when we choose to replace the upstairs carpeting.

This was my first time hiring a company to refinish or install flooring. In this case a little bit of both. I selected creative floors because of the confidence I got when speaking with the owner, Johnny. Never felt rushed or pressured to do anything and ended up making my selections over a couple of weeks. The crew was in and out for my job in about 1 week with three or so guys working throughout the day. They were also very patient with my stain selection. Overall the final quality is great and exactly what I was looking for. Any minor issues were resolved timely.

The only thing that I would recommend you inquire about, as I did not do to my lack of experience with this kind of work, is the cleanup of the dust and the retouching up of baseboards and walls that may be required after such a job. I believe it is typical but I wish I would have inquired more about it to know that after the job was done there would be the need to repaint baseboards and wipe down walls, etc.

Here we go again. We had Creative Floors help us out with the shower tiles and they came out great. The CF team was amazing. They were punctual and patient when I forgot to give them a way into my house.They did quality work and were quick due to having a large team. The kitchen needed new trim due to the preivous tile being much higher off the subfloor. They installed new trim and csme back next day and cared about the job being done correctly. They forgot to put my stove back in the kitchen, but sent a team to care of it very quickly, and no qualms or issues. We had LVP and new carpet installed, and they sanded and stained the tops of our stairs

I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again when I finish my basement. Moving into the area into our first home has been stressful, but Creative Floors made this change much easier. The pictures attached are before and after. (We are going to paint the risers ourselves.)

After a terrible leak in my master bedroom and being ghosted from the mitigation company after they tore it all apart Creative Floors literally saved the day! Johnny called me back within 30 min. He came out to refinish and update the stairs because they needed to be re carpeted. Not realizing he also did carpet, he sat with me and had great samples with him. The stairs were updated with wrought iron spindles and re surfaced before the carpet was laid. I told Johnny, the foyer was now my favorite room ;)!! He ended up doing carpeting all the rooms. It turned out better than I could have EVER even dreamed! I plan on referring him to anyone and everyone! He was responsive, timely, fair, and a joy to work with!

I got several quotes to have my hardwood floors refinished and decided to go with Creative Floors because Johnny was very professional, explained the process and wasn't an aggressive salesman. They did 3 bedrooms, a small hallway and living room. It was a 3-day process and the crew of 2 arrive both days on time around 8:30 AM. Although the 1st day was very hectic as I had them move the furniture and there was a lot of problems moving the couch. Also had problems powering up the big sanding machine that required 240V. After these hookups things went a lot smoother and they were able to finish the job and move the furniture back on the 3rd day. Had some issues but overall a good experience so I would recommend Creative Floors to family & friends.

I worked with Creative floors to have our entire first floor redone with hardwood floors. They ripped out the existing hardwood, ceramic tile and carpeting. Timing of the project was pretty close to what was estimated. Johnny stopped by on several occasions to check on the progress and to see if we had any questions. We had some severe settling/level issues to deal with. In a couple locations our subfloors would transition up to 1.5 inches. Johnny worked with his crew to address the issue and provide the best options for getting the new flooring as level as possible. We also had them install all new baseboards which really finished off the great new look. I would definitely recommend Creative Floors. They are serious about providing a great quality service to your home and are very reasonably priced.

We just had the complete house redone with hardwood by Creative Flooring and it is beautiful. Removing the old and inserting the new was no small task. Knowing this, we were so pleased to see the same crew of workers show up every day on time and with such positive and pleasant dispositions. The crew lead, Alex and fellow worker Gan could not have been nicer and more accommodating. This goes for the whole crew as well. From start to finish these guys were pros. Johnny's team refinished my entire first floor and changed the carpeted stairs going to my basement to solid oak stairs. I was very particular about how I wanted it done and his team followed every direction exactly as requested. As he was finishing up, I asked how much it would cost to buff and put a coat of poly on my upstairs landing. He said he'd do it for free with no questions asked. I would definitely use him again.

I received a botched job from a so called flooring company so horrible I was out of 2000 for the job. I saw an ad for Creative floors and Johnny answered making sure to come same day to give me an estimate. Not only was the estimate reasonable Johnny was able to save 95 percent of the laminate that I had purchased on my own. Johnny’s crew were professional, on time and got down to business immediately. They took up my laminate throughout my home, fixed all the bad cuts as well as made sure to lay the laminate the correct way. Had a slight issue with a couple of the planks starting to push up against one another so I reached out to Johnny and he responded within minutes! He came over that same day to take a look at the boards and scheduled a day for his crew to come replace the boards free of charge! They replaced the planks in less than an hour and made sure to clean everything to before leaving. Can't say enough great things about Johnny and his crew, we'll definitely be using Creative Flooring when we decide to do our flooring upstairs.

Johnny and his crew did a fantastic job on our home. We had luxury vinyl installed in 3 different rooms throughout the house and we couldn't be happier with the results. He also gave us the option of doing some of the labor pieces ourselves (removal of all the old carpet) to save some money which we gladly did! The quote came in considerably lower than some of the other vendors in the area so after meeting with Johnny and discussing our options, we knew he was the best guy for the job! Overall, extremely happy with how things turned out, in just 2 days nonetheless!
